Hi, I m a 47 year old female with asmatha. I have been having difficulty breathy today and needed to use my albuteral inhaler 3-4 times. This evening it has worsened and I just did a breathing treatment with Ipratropium Bromide and Albuteral Solution. Now all of my extremities feel like they have fallen asleep. I ve never experienced this before. She I be worried? My breathing has it improved either.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You seem to be having an asthma attack that is not responding to your inhalers so it is very important that you see a doctor as soon as possible.

In this case, you need to be monitored in the ER till your symptoms subside and you feel much better and also the doctor may have to adjust your treatment so as to prevent future asthma attacks.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
