What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Tight Sensation In The Chest?

My 13 yr old constantly complains that she cant breathe. It s like she can t take a deep breath. She feels tight in the chest and tends to yawn alot when this happens. It s been happening for about 2 years now. GP has checked her heart and that is clear, but I still have no answers and she is getting more and more distressed about it.

hi mam/sir,i can understand your agony.as GP confirmed a normal functioning heart and lungs,we can think of any psychological reasons.we,in our clinic, see many adolescents and children who are unable to take the stress, presenting with similar kind of symptoms.once get her pulse oxymetry test done.its done by pulseoximeter put to the finger tip and is non invasive.it checks the oxygen content of blood.if it comes normal, you can take her to a psychiatrist for counselling.she needs a strong mental support to overcome.any other queries, you are always welcome.thank you.take care.bye.
