General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Certain degree of breathing issues is expected due to uterus enlargement during pregnancy but it should not be severe. In her case, it would not be good to do lung xrays since this is a irradiation which may have negative effect on baby. However if there is cough with fever, chest pain or worsening of symptoms, then scan should be done no matter on cost. In every case, i don tsee this as something concerning if there are no these symptoms that I have mentioned..I hope I have answered your query. Wish you good health.
