What Causes Breathing Difficulty In The Morning Time?

I find breathing hard shortly after rising. My breath seems short and my heart racing. I am not stressed. I normally find sleeping difficult. I have been a diagnosed total insomniac. I take ambien for years with no side effects. I am very cautious of taking it and respect it. I do not drink or smoke. Lately the last three weeks I have felt exhausted and can sleep 9 hours easily. For my whole life if I got 4 hours I was proud. I do have some ringing in my ears

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the given symptom may not be due to any major illness but it may be due to some viral infection, just be patience for few days and it will be fine, no need to worry about this, it may be nonspecific symptoms this is the second possibility which might be associated with some functional disorders hope this information helps.
