What Causes Breathing Difficulty Post Intake Of Certain Food Items?
Hi this is wasim here. I have a problem in breathing when ever I eat long banana, curd, any cold Items I can t breath. And one thing more daily I use to take aerocort rotocaps before sleep and monticape tablet. I just want to confirm that my allergy is curable if not the medicine which I take it causes any problem in future
Hello and welcome to HCM, The treatment that you are taking - aerocort and monticaps suggest that you are suffering from disease of airways probably asthma. Difficulty in breathing after eating certain food items - banana, curd, cold items etc are probably due to same disease process. These food items are causing constriction of airways and thus difficulty in breathing. You need to consult your pulmonogist for review of the medication that you are aready taking.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
