What Causes Breathing Difficulty While Suffering From Pneumonia?

I had pneumonia 4 months ago but still am not getting o2 stats over 82 and now I am struggling to breath doing even small things like dressing or bending over doing the dishes. I m starting to wonder if I should go to the ED. My lung is clear and I use oxygen at night and it seems I m getting worse.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You need further work up in form of spirometry investigation.
It will be able to assess severity of restrictive or obstructive disease. According to that report further management can be planned.
I suggest to investigate with EKG as well. You can Consult pulmonologist for detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
