Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
I would like to know your age, any pre-existing diseases like asthma, COPD or heart disease. Is there any persisting cough? Hoarseness is common after respiratory infections due to inflamed / edematous larynx. But if there is persisting breathlessness, that too even on talking, we need to evaluate for the underlying cause, especially any cardiac issue. Kindly discuss with your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
