What Causes Breathlessness And Swelling After TIPS Surgery For Liver?
I have Nash cirrosis of the liver. had TIPS surgery littler over a month ago and havee been swelling. M y Dr changed my bp med to half because my pressure was so low. Its been 2 weeks now and the swelling has gotten worse. I sm short if breath ; had a 40 lb weight gain with in z2 mthd; no energy ; had to go to part t time working because of the swelling. I don t know if I need to go back to Dr who did the surgery My gastro Dr or just check inti er till someone tells me something.

Most possible issue with venous return to heart, must be evaluated with expert cardiologist to get the cause of swelling and definite management.
