Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

It is called altitude sickness and can cause breathing problems and even stress on the heart. It is better to climb smaller distance at a time and get adjusted, then go higher. Also, it would be good to get checked up by a pulmonologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
