Hi Abdul,

From your symptoms, I can see two main possibilities as causing factors. First is, you might be suffering from some lung disease or asthma. In that case, you should see a pulmonologist and should go for chest x-ray and Pulmonary Function Test. If the pulmonologist will suspect you have asthma, he may include the test for that in pulmonary function test and do appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

The other possibility is anxiety. If you are going through a phase in life where you have too many things going on and feeling much stress, then you can feel breathlessness and tightening in chest. This may disappear on its own as you get out of the rough spell and when anxiety decreases or disappears. If you feel that this can be the reason for your breathlessness and is troubling you a lot, you can see a psychiatrist who can give you counselling sessions or can prescribe you medicines to find relief in the situation.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthCareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
