What Causes Breathlessness?
My heart cat. was normal 05/27/14 .My Dr. James Nutt said I need to see a Lung DR. But he retiried without notice on 05/31/14 before he gave me my referal .He told me I needed to look into disability .That working at the rock querry was out of question . Help I can`t breath. Thanls for your question on HCM.
In my opinion since your cardiac work up is normal, we need to rule out pulmonary causes for your breathlessness.
So consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Chest x ray
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)
If both of these are normal , I advice you to get done CBC and S.TSH to rule out anemia and thyroid problems. As anemia and thyroid problems can also gives breathlessness.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
