What Causes Breathlessness, cough And Congestion While Having High BP?

I have a congested head, sneezing, and a cough, also get shortness of breath occasionally, no fever, I also have a drippy runny nose, mucus is clear, mucus drains down my throat occasionally, I do have high blood pressure, controlled with medication. I was wondering what I can take for such symtoms.

1. The symptoms of running nose, post nasal drip should be evaluated independently by an ENT Physician and based on his diagnosis [respiratory tract infection, allergic cough, gastroesophageal reflux] one can correlate the above mentioned features with blood pressure medicines.

2. As common cold is the commonest cause of headache, sore throat, sneezing but sometimes high blood pressure can cause headaches, shortness of breath, anxiety issues so check with a Cardiologist for investigations like Chest X-ray [to exclude any lung/heart pathology] ,Electrocardiogram, Lipid Profile.

PS. Patients of high blood pressure are many times given ACE inhibitors to lower blood pressure which are an important cause of dry cough
