What Causes Bright Pinkish Vaginal Discharge Long After Hysterectomy?
I had a complete hysterectomy 18 years ago, they took everything including my ovaries. I started seeing a bright pinkish bloody show about 2 weeks ago and yesterday and today more bloody show. Should I be concerned? Is this normal or could it be serious? Please give me insight as to what this could be. Thank you so much for your insight. YYYY@YYYY I am 58 years old.

It is quite common to have a vaginal discharge after hysterectomy. If there is a tinch of Blood,It will appear as pink. Mantain good hygiene and perineal care. Antibiotics like Amoxicillin TDS are given to prevent secondary infection.
