What Causes Bright Red Blood After Intercourse And Abdominal Pain?

I had unprotected sex at the beginning of the week. A day or two after my period ended. The next morning I had a small amount of bright red blood in a small amount of clear stringy mucus. (I ve never had this before) now my breasts are subtly becoming tender and painful. Also I ve had pains in my abdomen. What could this be?

Hello

Bleeding during or after intercourse need proper medical attention.It may be due to many causes like vigorous sex,cervical,vaginal,uterine problem,pregnancy etc.
You may need proper local clinical examination.It is important to observe for tear etc.
Ultrasound of pelvis is also helpful.
Pap smear etc can also be done after evaluation.
Treatment depend upon findings.You should consult gynecologist.
