What Causes Bright Spot In Center And Blurred Area In Peripheral Vision?

I have had a sudden onset vision change that started yesterday. I started seeing a bright spot in the center of my vision that was present when my eyes were opened or closed. Today, I am noticing a blurred area in my peripheral vision. I am a 42 year old female with no other health issues and I have always had 20/20 vision.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having sudden onset of blurred vision.
This needs examination by ophthalmologist to find out the underlying cause. The common causes to be looked for are refractive error, retinal problems.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back yo me for further questions.

Thank you
