What Causes Brown Discharge After Intercourse?

Hi, i would have been on the injection 3 weeks on sunday, i had sex 3 days after without protection and more so, but i have been having a brown discharge fo nearly 3 weeks now and was wondering if it was becuase of the injection, i did get cramping , bad headaches, butthey hve started to wear off, can you help ?
