What Causes Brown Discharge After Periods?

I'm a healthy 37 year old a little overweight but very active. I have regular periods that from beginning to end generally last about 7 days and just finished my period and now I have had a brown discharge for 3 days and there is particles when I pee? I'm not sure if this is normal. My period normally turns to a brownish color after the fourth day but this looks different and is continued longer than my normal cycle?
