What Causes Brown Discharge And Cramps During Periods While Being Sexually Active?

Hi. The first day of my last period was June 20th. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby and have had sex before, during, and after my most fertile days. This week I was expecting my period but starting this morning I only have mild cramping and a little bit of brown discharge to nothing at all when I wipe. I normally would have a very heavy flow by now. I took a clear blue digital test and it was negative. Could I still be pregnant?

Hello,

Brown menstrual blood near the beginning or end of your period is normal. It's just a sign that the discharged blood is older.

Don't worry, brown discharge before a period is not typically a cause for concern. And you know you are not pregnant, you've already tested that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
