What Causes Brown Discharge & Clots During Menstruation?

I had medical abortion 2 weeks back with a 5 week pregnancy. No antibiotic was given. I had heavy clotting and i passed the baby so to speak and havent been feeling pregnant since then. I am having bleeding since then but not too heavy. Since last two days the discharge is brownish with clots and is very smelly. What should I do?
