What Causes Brown Discharge In 6th Month Of Pregnancy?

hello Doc...I am in my 6th month of pregnancy...recently i have spotted some brown discharge when urinating though it is not frequent...i consulted my gynaec n she told me to do obst scan which i did...everything was normal in the scan wid the baby...my gnaec also said everything is good...but still m scared...what could be the reason n when will this stop

hi thanks for writing to us
brownish discharge may be due to infection or spotting or initial stages of bleeding in low lying or there is premature separation of placenta
if there is accompanied pain or foul smelling discharge,or bleeding it is a reason for worry
just have a careful watch over the fetal movements
as for now there is nothing to worry as ultrasound is normal
