What Causes Brown Mark On Inner Forearm?

I have a sudden onset of a brown mark on my inner forearm about the size and length of my index finger. The brown area is not brown where my hair follicles are. It s like poka-dots of regular. The mark is slightly rough but not itchy or raised. Any ideas?

Hi.
As per clinical history we need to rule out certain conditions-
1. If is due to any contact to new material or allergen it may be contact dermatitis.
2. If its of sudden onset and localized as u say it may be insect bite.
3. It may be lichen striatus as per site of lesion

Try Topical Fusidic-acid plus betamethasone cream (fucidin-B) for 7-10days. If it doesnot clear consult a dermatologist for further help.

Thanks.
