What Causes Brown Patchy Discoloration On The Body Despite Using Methylyprednisolone?
Hi I have a few red patches on my body which flare red then turn into a brown colour.I have tried anti fungal cream, exezema cream n the doc also has given me a cream named fatty ointment methylprednisolone aceponate. I have been using this for 5 days now and it s not working? The rashes have been on my body for a month n I appear to be getting more. I have been having severe hayfever reactions n am on meds for it. I have also been highly stressed out in my personal life. I hope this is enough info to help ur diagnosis
Hi. As per your case history you are having urticaria. My treatment advice is - 1. Avoid fast food and food with artificial colors for 2 months. 2. Don't take any medication without consulting a doctor as it may worsen the condition. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral hydroxyzine, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
