What Causes Brown Pigmentation Outside Scar After Removing Mole From Leg?

I had a mole removed from my daughters foot it had irregular borders and was growing rapidly the dermatologist shaved it and sent it for biposy. It came back benig. Now at the outside edges of the scar a brown pigmentation has formed, should I be concerned.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a kojic acid cream like kojivit twice daily on affected skin.
3. Other treatment options are topical hydroquinone and chemical peeling done by dermatologist.
