What Causes Brown/red Spotting During Pregnancy?
Hi Dr,
I'm 6 weeks pregnant I started spotting brown and then red 6 days ago. Went for two scans baby is fine. Dr said possibly cervix. I don't fill a panty liner not even half it's only when I wipe and it's daily. I have been on utrogestan for two weeks. What do u think the cause is and should I worry as we did see the h.beat twice. Do u think utrogestan 200mg a day is causing this. Since pregnant have not had sex so can't be the friction.

Hi,I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. I think it may be threatend abortion so you take tab uterogestan 200 bd dose with tab folvite 5mg od dose for better outcome. Followup USG to be done after 2week for evaluation of conception. If you have any other query then you can contact me. Thanx.
