What Causes Brown Spotting During Periods Without Bleeding?

i am 22 yrs old and my periods are regular.in the month of june i got my periods later for july and august i got periods just 4 to 5 drops for a day.. the drops are like very dark in color of red... this droppin last for around 12 days.. please tell me wat i should do for it
