What Causes Brown Spotting During Pregnancy?
Hi, I am currently 5 weeks pregnant. About a week ago, i started having brown spotting. a few days later it got to the point where i was bleeding like i was on my period. I ve had two ultrasounds and blood tests. my hcg doubled, and the ultrasounds revealed it wasn t ectopic. However, nothing else has come to light and I have been having the brown spotting for a week now. what could this mean?

take rest and avoid heavy work.
bleeding can be early sign of abortion. repeat your sonography after 15 days for fetal cardiac activity.
take progesterone support and folic acid regularly.
