What Causes Brown Streak In The Palm?

I have a small light brown streak in the palm of my left hand. I just appeared maybe a month ago. It is roughly 1/2 -3/4 long and 1/16 -1/8 wide. It is very light brown colored, but may have 2-3 very tiny dark specks in the streak. The spot is between my index and middle finger between the knuckles. It doesn t hurt, and doesn t itch. I just thought it was dirt at first, but has never washed away. Not on any medications.

The description suggest that you might be having a melanocytic nevus. The nevus has a benign course and no specific treatment is required for the same. However if it increases in size or becomes symptomatic you might need to consult a dermatologist. Regards.
