What Causes Brown Stringy Vaginal Discharge While On Nexplanon?

Hi so I ve been on nexplanon for about 2-3 weeks and before I went on it I had weird stringy discharge...I have been tested for everything but everything is negative at first my dr. Gave me antibiotics and it didn t work...now that im on my period it s the same discharge with brown dripping that I assume is dry blood...any idea what might be wrong with me?

Hi.

The very cause for the discharge is nexplanon as it causes a hormonal imbalance that can result in such a presentation. this is nothing serious, but if at all it worries you then speak to your doctor to help substitute it.
