Thank you Dr. Mintz. My husband has been ill with a fever of 101 (it) for the past two days, with severe headache, sore throat, congestion and deep, productive cough. He started taking liquid Mucinex last night and is feeling slightly better. However, his urine is now a rust color. Can Mucinex cause such a change in urine color? I know it could be dehydration but, he has had elevated Liver enzymes in the past and I just want to make sure there isn t some possible connection to liver or kidney.
