What Causes Brown Urination While On Prilosec?

Male age 69, 5 9 , 160 lbs, currently no serious illness. The only drug I take is 20mg prilosec per day for GERD, which I ve been taking for over 20 years. I m noticing dark urine, more brownish than red, and it s heavier then the water in the toilet, meaning it sinks to the bottom. No bladder or back/kidney pain.

dear sir,
most probably dark urine might be because of inadequate water intake,


my advice would be drink plenty of water at least 5 litres and then reassess

other differentials could be
urinary tract infection.
