What Causes Brown Vaginal Bleeding After Birth Control Withdrawal?

I stopped taking my birth control about two weeks ago and have been having brown discharge but wouldn t consider it to be a period. What does this mean? All pregnancy tests have been negative but I ve been having normal period signs but no period, only a brown discharge.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Usually withdrawal of oral contraceptives lead to withdrawal bleeding within 8 days . some long acting contraceptives have this type of withdrawal symptoms like brown spotting in between & normal period take few months to start .. when fertility also returns.
