What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Cervix Removal?

I had a transvaginal cervix removeal 2 1/2 weeks ago, things seemed okay until yesterday when I started to have a brown snot like discharge that smells extremely bad. No bleeding, just occasional cramps. Is this something I should be seeking medical attention for now or can it wait for the post op appointment in 10 days?
