What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Having Unprotected Sex While On Depo?

I ve been on the depo shot for a little over three weeks now. I had unprotected sex a week ago with my boyfriend (for the first time) and I was meant to get my period three days ago. Now I have a light brown discharge. Should I be worried about pregnancy or what is this an indicator of?

hi,depot shots are very safe mode of contraception.the likelihood of pregnancy is very low to nil.its very common to have delayed periods or irregular periods while on depot.so for you nothing to worry.some people experience brownish discharge or scanty periods instead of normal periods but this is not related to pregnancy.take care and all the best.
