What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Taking Cytotec?
Hi Doctors. I took cytotec a day or 2 after I missed my period. 800mg vaginally. 2nd dose after 3 hours and 3rd dose after 6 hours. No bleeding after 24 hours. After about 26 hours,brown chunky discharge everyday for the past 4 days. Pregnancy is about 4 weeks. What do you advise?

I understand your concern
Cytotec should be used under the advice of the gynecologist after confirming the intrauterine pregnancy by USG scan.
Brown discharge could be due to abortion process as it contain stale blood, vaginal infection and incomplete abortion.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, USG scan and vaginal swab test.
Extra dose of the misoprostol or D & C can be used to complete the abortion.
