What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Taking Norethisterone?

I have brown discharge even after taking Norethisterone for 10 days, one per day to delay period , will i get my periods ? i have to go temple immediately My periods date of last month was 4th april but i startes to take tablet from 26th april to delay periods of may month I am having brown discharge will i get my periods ? I have this brown discharge for 2-3 daya but i didnt get my periods I am still taking tableta

Hello,

I cannot assure you whether or not the brown vaginal discharge indicates impending menstruation. Norethisterone should be started at least 7 days before expected period. Since, you started it 7 days before it is highly unlikely that you will get your periods. Continue taking the pill every day even if you notice brown discharge. However, if you start menstruating you can discontinue Norethisterone since continuing it further is of no use.
