Hi,

Plan B is an emergency contraceptive pill. After taking the pill, you should get breakthrough bleeding by 1 week. Old blood looks brown. Hence brown discharge is due to mixing of old or retained blood with the cervical mucus. Pink or brown discharge what you are experiencing could happen just before the bleeding. If you do not get bleeding by 10th day, then you need to take a urine pregnancy test and consult Obstetrician with the report for clinical evaluation and further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
