What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Unprotected Intercouse?
Hi, I had my last period on 11 of may and I had intercourse without protection 18 of may, he didn t cum. I was supposed to have my period yesterday but instead I had a little brown/red discharged so I decided to take the blood test today and it appears negative. I still have doubts if I am pregnamt.
Many times women have irregular periods due to no real cause but to make sure I would advise you to wait another 2-3 days and repeat the test.
If the test is still negative then very likely you are not pregnant and if the brown discharge is going on but not real period then it might be advisable to have a gynecological examination and tests to rule out sexually transmitted disease like chlamydia and gonorrhea.
If you have not had a pap test in the last 2-3 years this might be a good time to have one done. Sometimes your doctor might also ask for a vaginal ultrasound to visualize your pelvic organs and make sure of the cause of the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
