What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge And Bloating?

I was never great at taking the pill but have decided to stop so me and my partner can conceive, throughout this month I have had an irregular period and brown discharge throughout the day and after intercourse along with bloating and cervical cramping what could this be ?

Going of the pill can cause hormonal imbalances a day menstrual irregularities.
It may take 3-6 months for normal ovulatory cycles to return.
The pill is a hormone that interferes with the normal hormonal cycle in the body. It causes the uterine lining to form differently and inhibits ovulation. It take the body some time to revert back.

I recommend :
-an OBGYN consult
-an ultrasound of the pelvis
-inducing a normal period if the endometrium is not shedding normally.
Wait for a normal period before trying to conceive.
-take a daily folic acid supplement
-maintain active lifestyle with adequate fiber and water in diet
This should normalize in a couple of months.
