General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
Meprate contains medroxyprogesterone which is a synthetic progesterone. The brown discharge that you are having is withdrawal bleeding of meprate which is expected.
The tissue is the innermost lining of the uterus or the endometrium which is normally shed during menstrual cycles.
You should not worry as this bleeding should decrease and stop in a few days.
Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question Ill be glad to help.
Regards,
