What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Microgynon Pills?

I have been taking microgynon 30 for a month now, to regulate my periods. During this time I have had unprotected sex (without condoms). I started my one week gap two days ago. I still haven't started my pill, although there has been some brown discharge. Any ideas when I might get my period or if I am pregnant?
