What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Mononessa Pills?
I am 23 years old, healthy, and on mononessa birth control. During the pill cycle, I have missed a pill and didn t realize it until the last day right before I m supposed to start my period and noticed I had an extra pill left. I took the extra pill the following day (Sunday). I don t know when I missed the pill, but I m starting to worry. I always start on Wednesday (today) but haven t started yet. Last Tuesday I had the brown discharge that lasted two days...it was brown like it would be right before your period begins, no blood or anything in it. I had sex twice using the pull out method. Could I be pregnant, or could taking the last pill a day late delay my period?
Chances of pregnancy is less while you are on birth control pill and you are taking the pills regularly. Missing just one dose doesnot increase the chance of pregnancy. However,if more than 2 doses are missed, there is chance of getting pregnant. In your case it is not so.
Brown vaginal discharge is common while on birth control pills. They are responsible for causing intermittent vaginal spotting.
