What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge?
I am having a brown discharge I have the bar in my arm to stop pregnacy been nearly 2 yyears was having irregular periods but it has been 4 months and now I have a brown discharge not flowing when I go to the toilet but I have no clue what it is I am sexually active and I have sex regularly with my fiance of 4 years

Hi, I have gone through your question. Since you are having a contraceptive implant inserted in your arm, you may have side effect of menstrual irregularities.
These contraceptive implants contain progesterone hormone which has side effect of prolonged absence of periods, and irregular and intermenstrual spotting, which can sometimes appear as brown discharge.
I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done, which will most probably be negative.
Then the reason for this spotting is the progesterone implant.
