What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge?

I was taking a shower and i was cleaning myself down there and I clean my vagina pretty well so I had my figure in there and I looked at my finger and there was little brown things, i did it again multiple times and every time there would come out these little brown things. What could this possibly be? This has never happened before.
