What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting After Having Intercourse?
My husband and I are trying to conceive. I started my period on the 23rd. I had very heavy bleeding for 2 days then the 3rd day was very light. I stopped yesterday morning and my husband and I had sex last night. I woke up this morning with some brown spotting now its more red but its still only when I go to the bathroom. Could I be pregnant??
Chances of pregnancy is very unlikely, since you had sec immediately after your menstrual bleed so there will not be any ovum to get fertilised
Brown spotting might be related to menstrual bleeding or infection of urogenital tract.
If I were your treating doctor I would have advised you for physical examination followed by a battery of tests like blood for CBC, hemoglobin, urine culture and vaginal swab culture test You may require a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor
To get conceived I would advise you to have intercourse near ovulation which generally occurs 14 days prior to next expected period, that also can be ascertained by ultrasonography and hormonal studies. I hope yju will find my reply informative and helpful please feel free to ask for further queries I will be happy to help you Best wishes
