What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting After Having Intercourse?
Hi.doc, myself 26 year old women having a baby of 6 months old. I.got my first period after delivery in 6 months after.Last.18 with my husband had a try for intercourse and didn t succeeded. But unfortunately I.didn t get periods this month and on 35 day I.got brownish.secretions 2 nd day small amount of bleeding started 3 Rd day again reduced and a brown colour secretion again..when I searched am seeing.pregnancy symptoms where I.didn t had an intercourse at all. Please help me out here. I don t have any other symptoms of pregnancy

The release of brown discharge is often caused by a small amount of old blood mixing with your normal vaginal discharge.
This creates a brown tinge. The reason your discharge is brown in color is that as blood ages, it turns from red to brown giving your discharge light to dark brown colour.
Pregnancy and childbirth have a drastic impact on the hormones in our body as they prepare us for childbearing, birthing and breastfeeding.
It is completely normal for women to experience irregular periods after birth and changes in the frequency and volume of your period after pregnancy are possible.
