What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting And Abdominal Cramps?

Hello, I have just had some dark brown spotting but am not due to have my period for another 9 days. I had intercourse on Sunday and have been having some mild cramping since yesterday. I am extremely worried that this was implantation bleeding and that I am now pregnant. I would really appreciate any advice on what to do to minimise the chances of being pregnant and make the implantation unsuccessful. Thank you, Sarah

I can understand your concern.
Possibility of infection is more likely because of brown discharge and abdominal pain.
Pregnancy usually can not cause discharge.
So better to consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination and microscopic examination of discharge.
You may need antibiotic suppositories.
Avoid sex for few weeks.
Avoid moisture and perspiration in private parts. Keep proper hygiene of private parts.
If you miss your next period then get done Urinary pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
