What Causes Brownish Blood And Discharge From Vagina After Having Unprotected Sex?

Hi, i have a question... I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend(who i believe has more than one sex partner) & afterwards when i went to clean up i noticed blood... I figured it was my cycle coming in early but it wasnt heavy enough.. Three days later i started heavy bleeding for 7days which i believe was my menstrual?? & im still bleeding lightly.. A dark colored brownish blood/discharge is still appearing daysssssss after the incident I m worried.. Does this mean i have a std?

Hi,

The profuse and prolonged bleeding after unprotected sex with multiple sex partners does carry possibility of STD (though it would accompany burning painful urine, bumps on genitals, bad smelling vaginal discharge which you do not mention). It needs to be differentiated from other possibilities like cervical polyp, incomplete abortion or cervical tear due to rough sexual act. Please consult a gynecologist for detailed physical check up (external and internal), blood work to come to an cause followed by specific treatment.
