What Causes Brownish Discharge After Finishing Periods?

I just finished my period today, all I had was brownish blood that leaks out in a day which is normal for my cycle at the end of my period. I had intercourse (unprotected) with my partner of a year now, I havent had sex with anyone else. What could be wrong????
