What Causes Brownish Discharge After Intercourse?

I had unprotected sex for an hour straight on Saturday and it s now Monday and I m seeing light brown discharge when i use the bathroom and I m having almost cramp like feelings in my lower stomach.. My period ended about Friday night, early Saturday morning. The brown discharge is different from the dark brown discharge I normally get at the end of my period, and it s odorless. I need to know if this is a sign of infection or pregnancy. Please help.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Brown discharge after intercourse is most likely due to vaginal infection, as pregnancy do not cause spotting or bleeding so early after intercourse. Local lesions in cervix or vagina can also lead to spotting.
Moreover, prolonged and rough intercourse can lead to slight vaginal injury, which can cause spotting for few days.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including vaginal swab examination and pap smear to get appropriate treatment timely.
