What Causes Brownish Discharge During Menstruation?
I miscarried back in May and began to have normal period right after. I was supposed to get my period on October 4 th I had little spotting pink in my discharge on the 29 of September but pregnancy test came up negative my period came yesterday it s very dark brown. My husband and I have been having unprotected sex and he does ejaculate in me. What could this be?
Pink spotting or dark brown discharge needs to be concerned. Implantation bleeding should be ruled out. It is very early to confirm pregnancy through home pregnancy test.
I suggest you to undergo one blood test for beta-hCG and Trans Vaginal ultrasound scan to rule out underlying pathology or product of conception.
Other reasons are endometriosis, old blood, endometrial tissue, hormonal imbalance, stress/ depression, vaginal/ pelvic infection etc.
Please consult with gynecologist for complete health check up with relevant investigation. Take proper medication if required.
Maintain genital hygiene. Avoid mental stress. Practice safe sex in future. Good luck.
